10.30 - 11.00. Flexible forms of employment- subject description. Jakub Grzegorczyk - CK-LA, flexibility of the labour market working group.

An introduction to the subject: a definition, different forms of flexible employment and range of its usage, employers’ and liberals’ explanations for its expansion; an attempt to explain the phenomenon from the perespective of workers movement.

11.00 - 12.00. Flexibility or discrimination? Noxiousness of flexible employment to workers, their families and to situation in workplaces. A theory of segmentation of the labour market as a proof for permanent noxiousness of atipical work. Andrzej Smosarski, CK-LA, flexibility of the labour market working group.

Presentation of impacts of deregulations on the labour market on the individual’s life; how it refers to the principles of human equality and of equal chances for dignified and stable existence; an attempt to assess impacts of flexible employment on full-time employees and trade unions.

12.00 - 12.30. Discussion.

12.30 - 12.45. Break.

12.45 - 13.45. Legal aspects of atypical work. An overview of flexible employment procedures considering their differences from full-time work; the employee and employer proposals how to change the law. Rafał Zieleniewski, CK-LA, flexibility of the labour market working group.

Presentation of present legal regulations that make possible the expansion of the flexible forms of employment; recognition of legal regulations that discriminate temporary workers; the overview of social partners’ ideas how to change the law in that field.

13.45 - 14.45. Discussion.

14.45 - 15.30. Flexible market inside a company. Collective agreements - actual trends. Conclusions for the working movement. Jarosław Urbański, Marcel Szary (All-Polish Workers’ Initiative Trade Union).

Recognition of threats of the flexible labour market on the example of a singular company. Threats of intensified pressure put on decentralization and on a change in collective agreements; presentation of the situation inside the working places; an attempt to find a solution how to change the present direction of changes.

15.30 - 16.00. Discussion.

16.00 - 16.30. Collective agreements as an offer for temporary workers - German experiences. A representative of German or Austrian trade union movement.

Presentation of achievements of German or Austrian workers in the field of creating inside working place regulations on protection of temporary workers; the legal situation and practical activity of trade unions.

Presentation of employment programs for those who start work, which in fact are particular forms of deregulation of the labour market; analysis of the real impacts of projects called "first work".

Presentation of strategies for trade unions how to improve the situation of temporary workers inside working place; an attempt to find the best platform for representation of flexible workers and how to help them in getting a long-term contract.

11.45 - 12.00. Discussion.

12.00 - 12.30. Civil society in defense of temporary workers. Tasks for social and political organizations in a fight against discrimination on the base of temporary work. Andrzej Smosarski, CK-LA, flexibility of the labour market working group.

Presentation of plans for long-term political campaign in defend of the temporary workers.

12.30 - 12.45. Discussion.

12.45 - 13.15. Flexibility of the labour market - our opinions, ideas, postulates. Katarzyna Rakowska - CK-LA, educational group.

Summary of the conference: revision of main aspects, discussions and conclusions; suggestions for activities in the future.

13.15 - 15.00. VI All-Polish Conference - the merits and organization aspects. The end of the conference. Jarosław Urbański - an initiator of All-Polish Workers' Confernces, Workers' Initiative Trade Union.

Choice of main subject of the next conference; selection of an organizing group. (technical details, schedule for preliminary tasks).
